| This Is Love(Terry Butler, Mike Young)
Nail-pierced hands, a wounded side This is love, this is love
The holy heart was sacrificed This is love, this is love
I bow down to the Holy One I bow down to the Lamb I bow down to the Worthy One I bow down to the Lamb
The Son of God died for us This is love, this is love
He walked the hill, and bore the cross This is love, this is love

| I'm struggling a lot with what has happened to my dear friend's little boy. Last night I had to work hard to distract myself so I could go to sleep ... it wasn't easy. My friend made a wonderful decion, to make her son an organ donor. Last night I prayed that God would give her this idea (as did another friend of their's, I spoke with her today). In spite of all the sorrow, it somehow adds extra purpose to his young life. I am all for organ donation. I'm so proud of my friend. | | |
| You may remember I used to do respite for a friend of mine, she has two boys with severe autism. This morning their older boy, (10 years old), had a seizure in the bath tub. They haven't been able to get him to breath on his own, and the CAT scans show no brain activity. They are waiting for dad to arrive (he's a truck driver and was some place deep in the states) and they will be pulling the plug in the next hour or so. I'd so appreciate your prayers for this family. I'm very shaken up by this myself, as you can imagine it hits close to home. | | |
| I tidied up the bedroom and made the bed all pretty .... so I thought I'd show you! Having a grown up bed is still a novelty to me! We just got our head/foot board part of the bed last fall. It's upholstered and oh so soft! The perfect bed to read in .... but as you can see, no side tables yet, and not lamps ..... so a bit more to add to the room (which is tiny, maybe 10x10). | | |
| This morning I was watching Ellen .... and a young man sang The Beatles song "Let it Be" .... as he sang some of the words began to change for me (I remember years ago hearing the Winans say on Oprah that their parent's taught them to switch up the lyrics to music they heard so that they would bring glory to God.). So I came to look for the lyrics on-line and God blessed me with a switch up of words, and gave me a Valentine's Day song! Thought I'd share it with you! Sing it the the tune of "Let it Be" by the Beatles! --- When I find myself in times of trouble, the Holy Spirit comes to me, speaking words of truth, He loves me! And in my hour of darkness He is standing right in front of me, speaking words of truth, He loves me!
He loves me! He loves me! He loves me! He loves me! Whisper words of truth, He loves me!
And when the broken hearted people living in the world agree, Jesus is answer, He loves me! For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see, Jesus is the answer. He loves me!
He loves me! He loves me! He loves me! He loves me! Speaking words of truth, He loves me!
And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light that shines on me, shine beyond tomorrow, He loves me! I wake up to the sound of music, God my Father, comes to me, speaking words of truth, He loves me!
He loves me! He loves me! He loves me! He loves me! Shouting words of truth, He loves me! | | |
